Use This Halloween to Teach Your Little One about Brushing and Flossing
Halloween is just a few days away now. That means costumes, costume parties, trick-or-treating, and candy, of course. And while candy and cavities go hand-in-hand in many ways, that doesn’t mean you should keep your little one at home on Halloween night.
Instead, once your child’s had a chance to have plenty of candy, consider using this coming Monday to teach your little one about brushing and flossing. Brushing and flossing are foundational aspects of oral hygiene, and learning both at a young age can do a lot to help your son or daughter develop healthy habits that will last well into adulthood.
Not sure how to get started? Give PGA Center for Advanced Dentistry a call today. Dr. Ajmo and the rest of our team would be happy to answer any questions you might have about teaching your little one the basics of brushing and flossing.
And one last thing before we go. We want to wish all our patients a happy Halloween. Stay safe and have fun!
